General Assemblies are one of the most awaited events in an organization. You get to meet new people, get to know the organization you signed up for, and you get to have fun! In this year's UST UNESCO Club's general assembly, which is entititled Pagpupugay Sa Perlas ng Silanganan, the advocates celebrated the 12th year of the organization's existence in the University of Santo Tomas. It was held in the Tan Yan Kee building on October 14.

The President talked about the rebranding of this organization. It was named as UNESCO Club UST before, and now it is named UST UNESCO Club. Not only the titles, but there was also a change in the UST UNESCO Club logo.

The general assembly has numerous activities. The guest speaker, Dr. Ronald Allan Mabunga, the National Coordinator in UNESCO Aspnet Philippines, gave his talk in the general assembly regarding the SDGs

The advocates had the time of their lives! This is a way to embrace their Filipino culture and their national identity.
